This is just a basic overview of what you need to do to get the game running and connect to the server. (pictures refered to coming later)

1. Download UT2K4 from the website.

2. Inside, find Setup.bat in the main folder and right click, edit. This is the text file that will pop up.

3. Find “set ID=” about 9 lines down from the top. Mine is labled “set ID=I:/UT2k4”. This is the install directory. Whatever you type after the “=” sign will be where the game will be installed into. The second thing you need to change is set TD. This is the temp directory for files that are getting extracted.

Successfully added a Video section that will pull all articles listed into the category video. Utilize a new Ventrilo Status Script. MP3 does not automatically start everytime a page loads. Will soon integrate EVERY fadedlife.net video we can find out there into the Video section. Work on the new UT2004 Server website is commencing now.

This is just a small taste of whats to come on the new server.

Removed the whole footer of the page to make the site look and feel cleaner. Notice to anyone who would like to contribute to the site by posting articles even as basic and simple as Claud’s please comment or tell me on Ventrilo and I will make you a user account that will be able to write and post articles to the main page of this very website. Next on the to do list(s) is create a video section, rename design to projects in main categories. Add more links and info when highlighted. Also need to integrate the UT2004RPGInvPro server website into this one. All in time.
